Brazilian Cherry has Janka hardness of 2350 (compared to approx.1260 for Red Oak). This very photosensitive hardwood deepens in color with age and is salmon red to orange brown when fresh, becoming russet to reddish brown when seasoned; often marked with dark streaks.Mazama Brazilian Cherry is 3/4"x4".
